Craig Group Wins Three 2022 AMA Crystal Awards For Outstanding Billboard, Political Marketing Campaign And Corporate Citizenship

With More Than 150 Finalists in the 36th Annual Awards,Craig Group projects for Katy ISD and the Houston Hope Line Showcased Measurable Marketing Results and Creativity

HOUSTON – MAY 23, 2022 – Craig Group announced today that three of their entries – for Katy ISD and for the Houston Hope Line – won the 36th Annual AMA Crystal Award for Paid Display Billboard (Houston Hope Line), Political Marketing Campaign (Katy ISD) and Corporate Citizenship (the Houston Hope Line). This year, Houston’s only results-driven marketing awards were selected from more than 150 finalists in more than 90 categories from marketing, communications, advertising, design, and public relations professionals. At the Gala held on May 19, 2022, AMA Houston debuted a new Crystal Award trophy reflecting the future of marketing. The 2022 Crystal Award Winners were announced at a formal event under the theme AMAverse held at the Bayou City Event Center.

“Craig Group was very proud of the work we did both for Katy ISD and for the Hope and Healing Center & Institute’s Houston Hope Line,” said Craig Group President Summer Craig. “We helped Katy ISD effectively promote their bond initiative digitally when the pandemic prevented them from doing it in person. And the Hope and Healing Center & Institute is an organization very close to my heart as they do such important work offering mental health resources to those who need it.”

In addition to Craig Group’s wins, they were also a finalist in Marketing Campaign Medium Budget (the Houston Hope Line) and Marketing Campaign Small Budget (Katy ISD).

The AMA Houston Crystal Award entries are judged based purely on results. The panel of judges, which includes the country’s top marketing thought leaders, CMOs, business owners, other AMA Chapter leaders, marketing educators, and authors, rate a project’s objective, strategy, tactics, and finally the measurable results, which counts double.

“As we continue to move forward in all aspects of our lives, it was inspiring to witness the future of marketing through the outstanding 2022 Crystal Award winners,” said 2021–2022 AMA Houston President Hami Arrington. “Houston’s marketing community is as diverse in industry focus as it is in discipline which makes for a dynamic ecosystem and a breeding ground for creativity and talent. Congratulations to Craig Group on their outstanding entries and three well-deserved wins!”
